Here's what happened...
I went back to school to get my Masters in Ministry to Women and found myself starring at my reading lists with dread.
I wasn't sure how I was going to read all of those books before the semester's end.
I had no choice but to figure it out.
I quickly learned to set reading deadlines. I divided the number of pages to create a reading schedule. Smaller chunks of reading shrank the feeling of overwhelm that was taking root.
Bit by bit, I made progress toward the end of each book. I read more books than I ever imagined I could, while my love for ministry and my library grew.

Hi, I'm Cyndee!
I serve as a mentor to thousands of women’s ministry leaders through my Women’s Ministry Toolbox website, Facebook group, and podcast. I am the author of several books, including Women’s Ministry Essentials and Rethinking Fellowship. I have an MA in Ministry to Women from SEBTS.
I have been serving in women’s ministry for over 20 years. I currently serve on the women’s ministry team in my local church in Concord, NC.
I have always loved to write and read. I can’t wait to discuss the books on our list with you!

Frequently Asked Questions
How much time is required each week?
I designed this book club with busy volunteers in mind. You'll likely spend just 1-2 hours a week reading and sharing insights in our online community. There's also a 60-minute monthly optional gathering via Zoom.
The book club is meant to encourage and equip you, not to be a heavy burden.
What types of books will we read?
I'll be selecting a mix of women's ministry, leadership, spiritual growth, Christian living, Bible study books, and biographies. Every book will be prayerfully chosen to encourage you in your faith and ministry.
You'll find many of the books will be appropriate to use in your church as a Bible study or book club selection. Other books may be beneficial to share with women you are counseling.
Do I have to read every book selection?
You can pick and choose which books to read. I know busy life and ministry can be. You are always welcome to join the monthly Zoom gathering even if you haven't finished (or started) the book that month.
Where will the online discussion be hosted?
I've set up a special private online community (not on Facebook) for us to use. You can access it using any device (desktop, phone, or tablet).
Once you purchase your book club membership, you'll be given instructions to join the group.
Do I need to buy or borrow the books?
Yes, members are responsible for acquiring their own copies of the books. I will always announce the selections well in advance so you can purchase a copy, utilize the library, borrow from a friend, or find used copies.

How does the membership fee work?
Your membership fee is billed annually. This covers technology expenses for the community and Zoom meetings. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges.
Once you've joined, your membership fee is locked in at that rate. You are welcome to cancel at any time; however, there are no refunds if you cancel before your membership expires.
